Kathleen is passionate about process. For her that looks like careful stitching, choosing just the right fabric, understanding her indigo dye bath, and intentionally creating beautiful shibori textiles. Her curiosity has taken her all the way to Japan to study with the masters, and we’re lucky to have her with us here at Fiber College.
Before and during registration, Kathleen will be set up so you can learn how to make your own Maki-Agi bandana (a lovely sea-urchin design). This is a wonderful chance to jump in, meet other attendees, and learn a skill you can use in many different ways.
We hope you’ll join us if you can Wednesday 3:00-4:00
