Money should never be the obstacle!

Scholarships and Volunteering

Would you like to be considered for a scholarship?

Would you like to be considered for a scholarship?  We are currently re-working the application process and will post the application here by June 1st.  On the application we will ask you questions like: what ways do you currently give back to your community? how will you use the skills you gain from the retreat that you participate in? what superpowers can you share with the Makers Guild?

We are entirely volunteer-run and over the years many people have contributed to our success, from the organizing committee members who work year-round to plan Fiber College, to the individuals and groups who volunteer during the retreats and festivals to make it all happen. We’re always looking for new faces and skills to fill spots and add vibrancy to all that we do. No specific experience is necessary- only enthusiasm and punctuality!

Please sign up for as many times and days as you feel you would like to be a part of our awesome team. Remember for each day you volunteer, you will receive a commemorative T-shirt and lunch in the volunteer lounge. Also, for each shift worked, you will be entered into the volunteer thank you package, to be drawn on Sunday afternoon. If you'd like to be part of the crew and make yourself available each day of a retreat, we'll provide you with a campsite and heaps of gratitude.

September 7-12, 2022 and September 15-19, -14, 2022
