ARMENIAN PICNIC
Wow...together we shared food and dance, smiles and stories...and our efforts combined to raise $9500 that we will use to maintain cultural programs and purchase craft supplies for war affected Armenian children. Thanks to the generosity of one patron, we have already sent two suitcases to Yerevan filled with yarn for sock knitting...in time for children to produce socks for the Christmas fairs. Thank you! DINNER MENU
Generous Dinner Plate ($38):
Local beef tip and veggie skewer served with a fresh garden salad, Middle Eastern chickpeas in a cumin tomato sauce, rice pilaf, homemade hummus & pita bread.
A La Carte ($14):
Lahmejun (Middle Eastern Flatbread) from the woodfired oven~ local beef or cheese
Kphali Plate~ Three Savory Scoops of Spinach, Carrot and Beet Pate flavored with walnuts, garlic and olive oil. Served with pita bread
Dessert Plate ($12):
Paklava (layered pastry with phyllo and chopped walnuts), three homemade khourabia, (Armenian Sugar Cookies) and a wedge of halvah (sesame candy)
Armenian Coffee or Mint Tea
Advanced ticket purchase available but not necessary...we will serve until we run out of food
Beverages: Armenian Wine, Maine beer, sodas and water will be available for purchase
